According to the first impression the video card GeForce GTX 280 standard designs are rather well overclocked without any modifications, and this means that NVIDIA partners can independently increase the frequencies before sale.
Let us note the frequencies of the factory overclocked GeForce GTX 2x0 :

BFG - > 615/1350/2214 MHz (GeForce GTX 280); 590/1300/1998 MHz (GeForce GTX 260);
Asus - > 670/1460/2430 MHz (GeForce GTX 280); 600/1300/2200 MHz (GeForce GTX 260);
Zotac - > 700/1400/2300 MHz (GeForce GTX 280);
MSI - > 650/1300/2300 MHz (GeForce GTX 280); 700/1400/2300 MHz (GeForce GTX 280);
EVGA - > 691/1458/2430 MHz (GeForce GTX 280 HC); 670/1458/2430 MHz (GeForce GTX 280 FTW); 648/1404/2322 MHz (GeForce GTX 280 SSC); 621/1350/2268 MHz (GeForce GTX 280 SC).

EVGA HC card is generally supplied with the copper water-block hydro copper 16, which is proposed also separately for $179.

This water block cools the video chip, chip NVIO, memory microcircuit and power elements.

The memory microcircuits in the back video card side are covered with special plate.

With the purchase of two or three video card/water-blocks simultaneously , EVGA promises to supply the special elements, which unite all video card water block, working in SLI or 3- way SLI mode.
