Hitachi global storage technologies (Hitachi), presented by a new HDD cinemaStar series optimized for video recording systems, including everyday DVR . The model cinemaStar 7K1000B will be accessible in versions with volume up to 1 TB. The maximum model volume in cinemaStar 5K320 is equal to 320 GB. The coolSpin technology consists in the speed optimization with the minimum energy consumption level and noise. According to Hitachi, the technology coolSpin allow to release the quietest and energetically effective 3,5- inches HDD . Hitachi cinemaStar are designed for continuous operation and have three energy-economy regimes. They use the technologies smart command transport (SCT) and SmoothStream. Those HDD can work in the extended temperature range, which offers the possibility of application in devices with the passive cooling. The deliveries Of cinemaStar 7K1000.B will begin in August, CinemaStar 5K320 - in September. | ||
