The 55- nm AMD RV770 GPU, as is known, gives users the optimum combination of price and performance. AMD also decided to use this solution in the initiative AMD stream computing. During June we reported, that at international conference ( supers-computer ), AMD company  presented the new generation processor AMD fireStream 9250. Now, during September, this GPGPU- solution will became accessible for order, as it was planned. Based on RV770 GPU ,  fireStream 9250 accelerator count 800 stream processors and completed by 1 GB 256- bits GDDR3 memory  , which show a performance on the order of 1 TFLOPS. Analogous product fireStream 9170 was a two-slot solution and had a twice lower productivity. FireStream 9250 is also considered as one of the fastest processors during the double precision  calculations (DP-FP). The price Of fireStream 9250 as it was expected is $999. Related Products :
