In the middle of summer AMD company presented FireStream 9250 - the specialized calculations accelerator on base of RV770 chip. Eight hundred stream processors at the frequency 625 MHz ensured the productivity : one teraflops which is compared with the speed of some supers-computer.
Only yesterday sapphire company reported about the deliveries of calculations accelerators fireStream 9250 and FireStream 9170. The first resembles to Radeon HD 4850 with 1 GB GDDR-3 memory and DVI port on the rear panel. It will appear in the beginning of November on the recommended price $999. The energy consumption level does not exceed 150 W.  Sapphire reports that with the aid of FireStream 9250, in particular, it is possible to increase financial analysis by 55 times in comparison with central processors. Related Products : | ||
