It is known that the existing version phenom X4 9950 Black edition with the marking HD995FAJ4BGH and with 2.6 GHz frequency has a TDP level not more than 140 W. This processor is incompatible with some motherboards, which are designed for processors which have the TDP level not more than 125 W.
AMD will replace the Phenom X4 9950 Black edition by the more economical processor with analogous frequency, which has a TDP level not more than 125 W. It should be noted that it already appeared in the Price- list of European stores, with the marking HD995ZXAGHBOX. After recent prices reduction , elder Phenom X4 cost $174, and the presence of unlocked multiplier substantially facilitates the overclock process. The appearance of this new version with TDP level not more than 125 W will make this processor accessible for the owners of inexpensive motherboards. | ||
