Simultaneously with the new models macBook pro and Cinema display, apple presented yesterday the new models macBook (budget).
Those new macBook are similar to new macBook pro, possessing in this case a smaller display : 13,3 inches. MacBook use the chipset NVIDIA 9400M, and here according to apple , the performance of integrated graphic core is five times higher than Intel GMA x3100, adapted in previous models. The new aluminum macBook do not have a fire-Wire port . Among the differences between macBook and MacBook pro we can also note the absence of discrete video adapter and express-Card slot. The new macBook is presented by two models. Low-end (cost in USA : $1299) and equipped with the processor Intel core 2 Duo with 2 GHz frequency , 2 GB memory and 160 GB hard disk . Elder model ($1599), has the improved characteristics (processor with 2,4 GHz frequency , hard disk 250 GB). New notebook are already available for sale. | ||
