AMD company already described its plans with respect to the use of existing and constructed factories. After transfer in the foundry company Dresden Fab 38 will be able to release not only central processors, but also 32 nm video chip. Fab 38 can also master product release by orders from strange producers. To 2012 AMD plans to build Fab 4X in the New York state, which will also combine the processors production  with the release of chipset and video chip. AMD analysts representatives reported yesterday that in 2009 its company will release 40 nm video chip, which support DirectX 11. Now AMD already has the available models 32 nm storage cells SRAM  , released at the Dresden factories. In first half of 2010 AMD plan to release the 32 nm products, which will be connected with Fab 38, and then Fab 4X.   Now by the production of AMD video chip and chipset  are occupied TSMC and UMC,  in the future Fab 38 and Fab 4X will also release the same products. Hybrid processors AMD will be released by Fab 36/38/4X on the 32 nm technology. To the middle of 2009 fab 36 will release 45 nm processors. The production of processors on 32 nm technology will use dielectrics with high constant k  value (high- k materials) and transistors with metallic lock, and also immersion lithograph. The SOI technology within the 32 nm technical process, according to AMD estimations , will ensure a improvement in the relationship of performance/ energy consumption by up to 40-50% in comparison with 45 nm technical process. The release of 32 nm products on bulk- technology will be fixed in the beginning of 2010. AMD is assembled to produce on this technology some graphic chips . Related Products :
