Two times per year the rating of supers-computer TOP500 is updated. In this case a large quantity fast supers-computer are shown .
From the 500 most powerful in the world systems, 379 computers are made on base of Intel processors . According to this rating, Intel processors are installed in 49 each 100 systems, which lead the list. The fastest computers are based on four core Intel xeon processors, occupying 288 positions of 500. In 222 supers-computer are used the 45-nm models Intel xeon series 5400. Besides hardware, Intel corporation proposes many tools , in order to use all the advantages of multi-core processors and to increase the effectiveness of cluster solutions. The program Intel instruments set is used in approximately 75% of systems from the top500 list . The Third position is occupied by the super-computer pleiades, developed by Intel, SGI and NASA. | ||
