It is completely regular, that the economic conditions force producers to change their plans. Some decreases the production volumes , reducing personnel and rejecting the release of new products.
As it was explained notebook producers will detain the release of the mobile platform calpella ( nehalem architecture in the mobile segment ), up to 2010. It was considered that clarksfield processors with four cores and integrated memory controller will appear in the third quarter 2009. The expansion of these processors for the market will be sufficiently aggressive, in the first months they will form 5% of all dispatched Intel processors. This is much more than the portion of processors with nehalem architecture in the desktop segment during the same period.
Intel Representatives reported that the company does not intend to introduce change in the announcement graph of calpella platform . | ||
