Today AMD company released the first dual core processor kuma, which is based on Phenom X4, but it was satisfied only by two active core. The appearance of this processor in official Price- list became a good occasion for prices update . AMD simultaneously presented the dual core processor athlon X2 7750 Black edition (2.7 GHz) with the marking AD775ZWCJ2BGH or AD775ZWCGHBOX, depending on assemblies. According to original plans, in AMD Price- list the processor athlon X2 7550 (2.5 GHz) had to appear with the limited multiplier, but this did not occur. Obviously, AMD attempts to stimulate demand in the corporate market segment  . However, these processors with the increased life cycle and three year guarantee are as before more expensive than usual models with analogous characteristics. Many dual core processors fell in price to the minimums : $71, $66, $61. With this prices equality,  there is no sense to buy model with lower frequency, if faster processor is proposed for the same money. For single core processor : $36 is enough for any athlon model, and $30 for any sempron model  . If we speak about the speed of the dual core AMD Kuma, then in average its performance is higher by 3-5% than in elder processor athlon X2 with 6000+ rating and 3.1 GHz frequency. At equal frequencies the advantage composes 15%. The basic competitor to Athlon X2 7750 Black edition must become the Pentium e5300, but the overclocking potential of this last is higher. Now processors kuma processor are based on B3 stepping, they can easy overclock over 3.0 GHz . Dual core AMD processors will pass on 45 NM technology not earlier than the third quarter of the following year. Related Products :
