We learned that AMD was intended to release the 40- nm revision of its RV770LE (RV740) chip, and now associate reported that NVIDIA will soon present its own 40- nm graphic processor GT216.
This chip will have a 192- bit memory interface , up to 768 MB DDR3 (probably, 384- MB cards will be also released). The base memory frequency will be 2,4 GHz. GT216 will be positioned in the same segment or scarcely higher, then RV740. | ||
