Antec company , which is specialized in computer components and PC accessories , released new power units truePower .
All PSU new truePower have a certificate 80 PLUS bronze, which confirms their EFFICIENCY ( not below 82% with any load ). Active power-factor compensation (Active PFC) helps to decrease the losses of electric power. The new power units use the function of automatic fan frequency control , which was earlier realized by Antec only in the power signature series, which relate to the higher price category. Furthermore, the PSU truePower adapt solid-state capacitors from Japanese production.

The list of new models includes TP-550 with 550 W, TP-650 (650 W), TP-750 (740 W) and TP-750 blue (750 W). The new PSU truePower correspond to the specifications EPS12V v2.91 and ATX12V v2.3. The tentative prices of those new power units truePower are : TP-550 : $120, TP-650 : $140, TP-750 : $160 and TP-750 : $170.
