In the past month, the motherboard Intel DX58SO on base of x58 chipset acquired the SLI support after the latest bios updates. Possessing three slots PCI express x16, these motherboards support 3- way SLI using three NVIDIA video card. Now the relation between Intel and NVIDIA was aggravated immediately in several directions, and we can expect some change.
Last week Intel company reported about changes in the assembly of DX58SO motherboard, supplied in the OEM and box version. Besides the new bios update : version SOX5810J.86A.3435, all supplied from second April motherboards will be coupled with SLI- bridges for connecting video cards. In this case Intel will supply those motherboards with SLI bridge . The new motherboards will get a new marking from E29331-502 to E29331-503. | ||
