One of the most expected events during this week undoubtedly became the announcement of phenom II X4 955 Black edition processor socket AM3, which has the default frequency - 3.2 GHz. The previous processor version released by AMD was called Phenom II X4 940 Black edition and worked at 3.0 GHz frequency using the design concept socket AM2+ . Today in AMD Price- list some changes occurred  , which concerned the assortment and prices of desktop processors generation phenom II. The processor phenom II X4 955 Black edition is evaluated at $245. In the second place, under this processor proved to be the Phenom II X4 945 (3.0 GHz), which cost $225 . Both new processor use sockets AM3. Phenom THE II X4 925 (2.8 GHz) is only for OEM- market and will cost less than $200. The first has an unlocked multiplier, as all products series black edition. Both are based on C2 stepping. As reports associate, the recommended prices of three core processors phenom X3 was lowered to the following values: Phenom X3 8750 (2.4 GHz) - > $90 ($122); Phenom X3 8650 (2.3 GHz) - > $79 ($101); Phenom X3 8450 (2.1 GHz) - > $74 ($81).
