The motherboard series DFI LANParty for AMD processors , including the models 790FXB and 790GX, ensure access to AMD phenom II frequency potential and relate to the upper segment. Following their release, DFI company decided to focus on the segment Mainstream overclocking. The first product in the indicated segment became DK 790X-M2RS on chipset AMD 790X + SB750.  This motherboard is equipped with two slots PCI express x16 (x8 + x8) and supports crossFireX technology . The sound system is based on realtek ALC885. Moreover the motherboard include a gigabit ethernet on base of marvell 8056 chip. From the special features of DK 790X-M2RS the company note the development ABS II, which automatically execute all actions, connected with overclock : No special knowledge is required. More experienced users can overclock their system manually and use the fine adjustment , more than hundred of options , in Genie Bios.
