The update of Intel Price- list occurred today. Intel announced some price drop from $530 to $316 and from $241 to $209 for the processors core 2 Duo t9600 (2.8 GHz) and Core 2 Duo p8700 (2.53 GHz) respectively. The Prices of other Intel processors did not change.
Intel also presented the new high end processor core, i 7-975 Extreme edition (3.33 GHz), which after passage to D0 stepping became even more economical than its slower predecessor in the rest state . Core i 7-975 Extreme edition will replace Core i of 7-965 Extreme edition.
Intel also presented the processor core, i 7-950 (3.06 GHz) ($562) . The processor core i 7-920 (2.66 GHz) will continue to be released after passage to D0 stepping.

The processor core i 7-975 Extreme edition voltage limit was reduced from 1.375 to 1.225 v.
Today Intel also presented new desktop processors with two cores:
- Core 2 Duo e7600 (3.06 GHz, 1066 MHz bus, 3 MB cache) - > $133;
- Celeron e1600 (2.4 GHz, 800 MHz bus, 512 KB cache) - > $53.
Intel also announced the mobile processors celeron t3100 (1.9 GHz) and Celeron t3000 (1.8 GHz) which cost $86 and $80. They have two cores, 1 MB cache in the second level and support 800 MHz bus. Related Products :
