The first references about atom n450 processor on PineView- M core is already available : Associate reported only that such a processor will be presented not earlier than October this year. Let us talk about the characteristic of those processors : The passage of memory controller and graphic core in the processor allowed to pass to the two-chip layout and to reach the savings on the printed-circuit board. Motherboard with pineView processor and Intel NM10 chipset occupies only 773 sq. mm, which up to 64% less than the surface area of motherboard class Diamondville- M. Also it was possible to simplify the printed-circuit board design - This allowed the use of four slots Textolite instead of six. Finally,  TDP platform  general was reduced from 16 to 7 W, and the average energy consumption level - from 4 to 2 W, which will allow to bypass with passive cooling. All these improvements will allow to reduce the prime cost of products on base of pineView processors  . If we speak about the processor atom n450, then it will operate at the 1.66 GHz  frequency, and it is equipped with 512 KB cache in the second level. The support of hyper-Threading will increase the quantity of virtual core to two. The virtualization technology will not be supported. The single-channel memory controller  will ensure support to two modules DDR 2-667 with total volume up to 2 Gb. The Graphic core GMA500 will increase its frequency from 133 to 200 MHz. In the fourth quarter also will appear the processor atom d510 (1.66 GHz) with two cores, intended for nettop. In the first quarter following year will appear the single core processor atom d410 (1.66 GHz), which plays in the same segment. In the second quarter 2010 Intel will end the production of atom 230, N270, N280 and 330 processors. Related Products :
