As reports associate , notebook producers do not intend to propose passage on Windows 7 for their products on base of Intel atom n270 (1.6 GHz) processor. Now one license Windows XP home for OEM- producers cost $25-30, and the version Windows 7 for notebook would cost 45-55$. The market for notebook is characterized by high competition, and user are very sensitive to the product price.
Some producers examine the possibility to use the operating system Windows 7 for notebooks on base of atom n450 (PineView) processors. Some producers are prepared to propose Windows 7 even for notebook on base of atom n280 processor, which has the limited life cycle. | ||
