The director of transcend company , Peter Su, that release DRAM memory , expressed with confidence that in the fourth quarter this year the price of this production has all chances to grow to 2 dollars. for 1- Gbit microcircuit.
Su speaks, that the tendency to increase in the prices is caused by the explicit increase in the demand for this production. Therefore, in this year the cost of 1- Gbit DDR2 memory chip , will most likely, reach the $1,5-2,0 level. According to transcend data an increase in the demand for memory is noted in East Europe, India and Russia. Company also attempts to increase its presence in China in this year in order to attain market increase and to obtain gross profit at the level of 15%. | ||
