Intel this week has sent out a notice about the beginning of the program to remove from the production processor family Ivy Bridge-E LGA 2011. From now on, the product range presented by Intel will be only Haswell-E processors.
Order processors Ivy Bridge-E, Intel will allow until 24 December 2015 and the last batch will be dispatched on the third of June next year.
Along was removed two Haswell processor with free multiplier: Core i7-4770K and Core i5-4670K. They leave behind model Core i7-4790K and Core i5-4690K series of so-called Devil's Canyon with improved thermal interface and enhanced power system, so it is unlikely that this loss can be considered irrecoverable. Both processors will leave the market in the same manner as Ivy Bridge-E. Related Products :
