Globalfoundrie's representatives noted, that the circle of company clients can be enlarged before the end of year. At the given moment the only globalfoundries client is AMD company. In this case NVIDIA already declared publicly, that it studies the possibility of video chip production at globalfoundries. Globalfoundries representatives reported that the names of new company clients can be named during the next thirty days. However, there are no video chip producers among them . Chips with the low energy consumption level , used in consumer electronics and telecommunication equipment - here is the type of first globalfoundries production , which will be released by strange orders. It is assumed that the production of video chip by globalfoundries will be expanded only within the 28 nm technological process, which will be mastered at the beginning of the following year. In the second-half of 2012 the technological standards class 28 nm will be used at the American factory fab 2, whose foundation now is embedded in the state of New York. | ||
