Marvell company already proposes SATA-600 controller, problems with the support of parallel ATA interface forced the majority of motherboard producers to forego the use of its current revision on their products. The new controller revision , which will appear prior to the end of this year will fix this problem.
Associates report that aSRock company decided to use SATA-600 controller from Marvell for creating the special card , which will be supplied in the complete set with aSRock p55 deluxe on base of Intel p55 chipset.  The card has a PCI express x1 interface, and it is installed in the appropriate free motherboard slot . Even the first controller revision normally works with SATA-600, the existing problems concern only the parallel ATA interface. Related Products : | ||
