IBM is occupied already by studies in the nano-technologies sphere , opening thus doors in the future. Certainly, not all of them will be realized in the future products; however, after some time, possibly, we will read and write news about chips, based on those studies, which are today similar to science fiction. For example, we recently reported about IBM studies in the use of DNA molecules for creating micros-chip.
Recently appeared a new press release, in which IBM shares the experiment results . Studies were dedicated to the imprinting of internal molecule structure in the highest resolution. Experiment took place with the use of noncontact atomic- power microscopy (AFM). , So that would not interfere with any external factors, experiment passed to ultrahigh vacuum, at the temperature of minus 268 degree Celsius. Studies were passed based on the example of pentacene molecule , the distance between adjacent atoms was only 0.14 nm. In this case, the molecule and microscope were in the fixed state on the elongation of approximately 20 hours.

IBM is assured that the data of study will help to understand the operating principles with the smallest particles, correspondingly, they are necessary for the development of nano-technologies.
