The well-known hard drives producer,  western digital corporation  joined the club of 640 GB (Toshiba and Samsung), announcing its HDD model with analogous volume : WD6400BEVT. This is the first device of this volume  among 2.5 inches device. The basic sector of its application are laptop computers and compact desktop systems. This Hard drive is the representative of scorpio blue series , it consists of two plates with 320 giga-byte volume, it is equipped with SATA interface with 3 gigabits capacity  , internal cache  8 megas-byte and with 5400 RPM engine . In comparison with the previous model,   500 gigas-byte capacity, the new HDD consumes up to 30% less  energy, which in turn will reduce load on the laptop battery .
