Last week freecom company presented the first external disk with USB 3.0 interface, which will appear in the European market in the middle of November - this model was called Hard drive XS 3.0. Data transmission Speed is 130 megas-byte per second. This is much lower than the theoretical maximum of USB 3.0 interface, but  higher than the possibilities of the majority of existing devices. Video file with 5GB volume can be copied to this disk in 38 seconds. It supports the 256- bit data coding on AES algorithm . The device mass is equal to 860 gram. This disk will be proposed in models with volume 1 Tb, 1.5 Tb and 2 Tb. The cost of low-end version is equal to 119 Euros. Related Products :
