The association, known by Wi-Fi alliance, which unites more than 300 participants, reported about the intention to inject the new wireless connection structure for Wi-Fi equipment. The discussion deals with Wi-Fi direct, the obsolete version ad-Hoc (connection type computer- computer). Today the direct connections between the wireless clients work only in standard 802.11b, which ensures the channel speed in all 11 megabits per second. Wi-Fi direct will allow to connect directly without access points at the much larger speed. Furthermore, it work support coding WPA2 and connect devices with the use of simplified technology WPS, which operates with PIN- codes for devices authorization  . Among other promised functions, it is possible to note some control option, which will block specific devices or optimize channel for the work, system automatic detection, and also possibility of interaction with multiple devices set simultaneously.
