Chief microprocessor producers for PC mastered the mass production of four core models and work on the production of models with the larger number of core,  tilera corporation, known as the developer of  multi-core processor TILE announced the first in the world 100- core processor tILE-Gx100. According to the company, on the productivity tILE-Gx100t exceeds any processors announced today by four times. The characteristic of all model tILE-Gx is the high value of specific productivity per unit of required power, in other words, energy effectiveness. In the series tILE-Gx entered the models with 16, 36, 64 and 100 core. This light scaling ensures the unique architecture, which distinguishes the developments Of tilera from other processors. The two-dimensional network of internal connections  iMesh removes the need for common bus, and the system dynamic distributed cache (DDC) ensures the joint use of local cache of each core by all remaining cores. For simplification in program development , which can use the advantages of new processors, Tilera proposes the development Of multi core development environment (MDE). TILE-Gx is processor designed for the release on 40- nm technology at TSMC company capacities   . They work at the clock frequencies up to 1,5 GHz, consuming from 10 to 55 W. At the disposal of each 64-bit core, there are 64 KB cache in first level (32 KB for the commands and data), 256 KB cache in the second level, also, up to 26 MB cache in the third level (utilized together with other cores). In the processors are integrated the DDR3 memory controllers both system input-output and also blocks for hardware acceleration of processing packets, coding and data decoding.   Related Products :
