Intel company , which drew considerable attention to its SSD after passage on 34 nm solid-state memory, soon promises to use 30 nm memory. The second most important producer of semiconductor microcircuits gave immediately two statements.
First, company declared , that at the end of November it approached the mass production of first in the world 30 nm MLC microcircuits . The volume stored information after transfer from the two-bit microcircuits to three grows by 50%.
In the second place, Samsung company reported about the beginning of mass production of 30 nm MLC memory microcircuits with a density of 32 Gbit with DDR interface . The application of this interface instead of SDR allows to raise the writing speeds from 40 to 133 Mbit/s. The energy consumption level in this case does not rise. Memory with this type can be used in SSD, memory card, mobile devices and automobile navigation systems.
The memory card with MLC microcircuit (DDR interface ) demonstrate an increase in the writing speed from 17 to 60 Mbit/s in comparison with the analogs, characterized by SDR interface .
