Already this month released last year, the smartphone LG V20 will receive a successor. LG V30 will be the first smartphone of South Korean company with OLED-display FullVision. This is confirmed by LG itself.
The president of LG Electronics and Mobile Communications, Juno Cho, referenced by the GizmoChina Internet portal, said that now is the best time to resume the release of devices equipped with OLED screens, as the competition between different smartphone manufacturers is only intensifying. LG V30 will receive a 6-inch OLED display of Full Vision and will be the first LG smartphone with an OLED display since the release of LG G Flex 2 in 2015.
Instead of a glass substrate, the LG V30 display will use plastic (P-OLED technology). It can be bent on both sides, like the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 + and will get a resolution of 2880x1440 pixels (QHD +). Screen LG V30 will be covered with a protective glass Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The official announcement of LG V30 will take place on August 31 at the annual IFA 2017 in Berlin. In South Korea and the US, its sales will start in September. In addition to OLED-display smartphone will receive a double 13-megapixel main camera, upgraded chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 and 6 GB of RAM. Related Products :
