Freescale company which releases processors with ARM- architecture will demonstrate on CES 2010 prototypes of plane-desktop computer, which cost less than $199. Device will be based on freescale i.MX515 processor with ARM cortex-A8 and will obtain the sensory screen standard size 7 inches with 1024 X 600 resolution , 512 mb DDR-2 memory, the disk volume ( microSD ) (from 4 to 64 Gb).
The built-in 0.3 MP Web- camera will transfer video in the VGA- quality with 30 frames per second. Orientation sensor will track change of the case on three coordinates, while the illumination sensor will automatically change image brightness. As the operating system the device will use Google android or Linux. For connection with external peace will be used the adapters bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS receiver will allow to determine coordinates in the navigation programs. Customers can obtain access to the plane-desktop computers standard design from February this year. Related Products :
