Here is the measure headed by Apple to announce its new device . New plane-computer was the presented device. Developers named it simply : iPad, but not iSlate and iTablet, as assumed earlier. The device is equipped with sensory screen with 9.7 inches diagonal, made on the technology IPS and support sensory  multi-touch control. In the middle of 2008 apple acquired palo alto semiconductor company (P.A. Semi) for $278 million dollars. Even before the organization the idea of similar device creation appeared. In iPad is used the processor with code name apple A4 and 1 GHz frequency. As in case with iPhone, in the device is integrated flash- memory volume for user data. It will vary in the range from 16 to 64 gigas-byte depending on assembly and costs. The device support wireless wi-Fi  standard 802.11n, and also module Bluetooth version 2.1 with EDR support. There is a compass, accelerometer, dynamic loudspeaker, microphone, and also 30- TI contacts port, where will be connected interface cable for synchronization with PK or Mac. The device has up to 10 hours of off-line operation with regular battery . The case of iPad from behind will be made from aluminum, which will increase its strength. The majorities of devices from Apple cost approximately 300-400 dollars. IPad will include a built in application for reading electronic books . The programmers of the company created the mobile version of editor iWork, which allow to create text documents, presentations and electronic tables. iPad has a built-in GSM/UMTS- module. It can be provided with  3G module and without it. The base version will cost only $499. In turn, this means that the majority of electronic book producers with the limited functionality risk to lose their part of market against the appearance of the more universal device from Apple. Together with iPad were presented a new wireless Bluetooth- keyboard, which performs the role of support, special case for the protection from mechanical damages . Supposedly, to the public was demonstrated the preliminary model, sale of base models in USA will start only in two months, and versions with 3G- module through three. In spite of skeptical attitude of many analysts and potential users,  this time Apple was able to produce current mini- revolution, after presenting universal device for completely moderate cost, moreover without contractual obligations. iPad is: the video and audio player  , electronic book, GPS- navigator, business organizer and game console  - in one case. From  minuses, we note the absence of camera , or applications for sending SMS/MMS. In spite of expectations, the screen in iPad is not light-emitting diode; however, this approach allows to decrease the total cost. In the existing IPS- matrix the resolution composes 1024x768 , which is small, but the relationship of sides is 4:3, but not wide size 16:9. The processor used is very productive as for the modified operating system iPhone OS 3.2.
