Apple is preparing to release a new model iPad Pro , equipped with a 10.5-inch display. It is rumored to be announced at the beginning of June as part of WWDC 2017 and by the end of the year it will be sold in several million copies. This was reported by sources from the supply chain.
Sources say that the new iPad Pro with a 10.5-inch display went into mass production in March-April 2017. The monthly volume of shipment of a new tablet is growing and now amounts to approximately 500,000 units, and in July it will reach 600,000 units. According to sources, before the end of 2017, Apple plans to deliver 5 to 6 million iPad Pro with a 10.5-inch screen.
As for the recently announced affordable iPad with a 9.7-inch display, the demand for it, according to sources, will peak in the third quarter of 2017. Its monthly deliveries in June and July will exceed 4 million units. It is noted that Apple, launching a new 9.7-inch iPad, will gradually give up the iPad mini 4.
Also Apple this year will update its 12.9-inch iPad Pro. According to market observers, its mass production will start in June, and stable supplies will begin in the third quarter.
Despite the new strategy and launch of new products, analysts still expect that iPad sales will decline compared to the previous year.
