Deliveries of iPad tablet will be a record low in the first quarter 2016.
According to Digitimes Research forecasts analysts, in the first quarter 2016, Apple put 9.8 million iPad, which is 39.1% less than in the previous quarter and almost 20% less compared to the same period last year. Overall, in the current quarter to the world market will be delivered 46.65 million tablets, which is 28.6% less than the previous quarter and by 8.6% compared with the first quarter of 2015. Quarterly shipments of branded tablet, not including iPad, decreased by 25.9% to 21.5 million.
It is noted that Apple's share will have 21% of the world's supply of tablets, then 14% should be Samsung Electronics, in third place with 7.2% located Lenovo. 7-inch models will account for 35.4% of all deliveries, 7.9-inch version - 13.8%, and 8-inch - 6.1%. The share of the 9-inch tablet will have 23.8% of the total number of deliveries, and 10- and 11-inch tablets will occupy 10.1% and 10.8%, respectively.
The publication reported that the Taiwan ODM- and OEM-manufacturers will release in the current quarter, 14.5 million tablets, reducing supply by 37.8% compared with the previous quarter and by 17.6% year on year. The share of the Foxconn, is responsible for the assembly of the vast majority of iPad models will be 60.5%, Compal Electronics will receive 15.8%, 10.4% and Pegatron will get 4.7% Quanta Computer 4,7%. More 1.3% of tablets shipments will fall to the share of Wistron.
