Asus company last week presented its initiative under the general name asus protect 3.0. Asus is intended to release motherboards with the electromagnetic radiation level reduced by 50%. Simultaneously Asus added some protection from voltage surges, which increase the longevity of motherboards . Finally, special energy processor (EPU) in the real time control energy consumption, which reduce this index by up to 80%. Using motherboards with EPU it is possible to save in a year up to 33 kW of electric power, and to also decrease the carbon dioxide ejections in the atmosphere by 20.7 kg. ten million such motherboards decrease the ejections of carbon dioxide to the value, equal to the annual exhaust of entire Australia.
