OCZ company technology proved to be in the number of first producers, who interested in sandForce controllers, which allow to raise the information writing speed of solid-state disk.
Yesterday OCZ technology officially presented the SSD series vertex limited edition, based on MLC memory and sandForce production controllers. These SSD will be released by limited quantity models with 100 Gb and 200 Gb volume . In American retail they are already proposed for $440 and $920, respectively.  The series vertex LE ensures the maximum transmission speeds 270 Mbyte(s)/s on reading operations and 250 Mbyte(s)/s on writing operations. The search time is equal to 0.1 ms, but energy consumption does not exceed 2 W in operating conditions, and 0.5 W in the rest state. SSD originally supports TRIM command, and they are equipped with SATA-300 interface. Related Products : | ||
