More than a month ago sapphire company presented the radeon HD 5850 TOXIC version, characterized by the cooling system Vapor- X with vaporizing chamber and heat pipes. On the producer statements, it allows to reduce the video chip temperature to 15 degrees Celsius, and the noise level by 10 dB, in comparison with the standard version radeon HD 5850. Video card had 1 Gb GDDR- 5 memory and default frequencies 765/4500 MHz.
Yesterday sapphire company presented new video card series TOXIC - this time we deal about the radeon HD 5850 version with 2 Gb GDDR- 5 memory. Frequencies remained as before - 765/4500 MHz.
On the rear video card panel, it is possible to find two DVI, one port HDMI DisplayPort ports. The radeon HD 5850 TOXIC with 2 Gb GDDR- 5 memory are approximately $40 more expensive than the 1 Gb memory. The increased memory capacity appears in high resolutions, this is especially urgent with the work of eyefinity technology, which allow to extend the panoramic image on several monitors.
