JEDEC committee began the development of DDR3L memory standard, which would provide for DDR3 modules default voltage 1.35 v against present 1.5 v.
DDR3L Microcircuits possess the same functionality, as DDR3 microcircuit. They ensure equivalent productivity and load capacity, but they are satisfied by lower default voltage, which decrease energy consumption to the value up to 15%.
