The concept of Windows on ARM (WoA), which involves the creation of notebooks based on ARM architecture CPU with an operating system Microsoft, will be realized at the end of 2012, but six months later WoA become headache for companies holding a dominant position in the segment of mobile computers. Chip manufacturers, NVIDIA and Qualcomm pay much attention to the performance of their creations, which, combined with a traditional low-power ARM makes WoA serious competitor for Intel and AMD.  It should be noted that the main suppliers of laptops ASUS and Lenovo, are ready to support the implementation of WoA at the hardware level in 2013.  If the experiment proves successful, then in 2014-2015 we will have a boom of such decisions. The source notes that on the side of WoA there is the low power consumption and cost of available solutions, but the main problem will be software support.  If the initiative of producers and ARM-processor based on these notebooks will be supported by a sufficient number of diverse and necessary software, WoA has a chance to become the second most common platform for mobile computing.
