In the next month, Intel plans to release its new dual-core processor-based on Cedar Trail platform Atom D2550. New D2550 is similar to D2700 except for the processor cores operating frequency ( 1.867 GHz ) and support Hyper-Threading. In addition Intel significantly increased the operating frequency of the integrated graphics core which is now up to 640 MHz, TDP compared to Intel Atom D2500 has not changed, in the range 10 watts. The processor supports the following instructions, and technology: MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, Supplemental SSE3, Extended Memory 64 (EM64T), Execute disable bit, and it is equipped with integrated controllers, single-channel DDR3-memory interface, and DMI.
