Asetek company , which specializes in water cooling systems, closed-circuit, developed a solution designed for powerful mobile computing. The first laptop using the product became Alienware M18x with an Intel Core i7-2920XM (frequency 3.5 GHz) and a pair of discrete graphics cards AMD Radeon HD 6990M. The design consists of three cooling element, which are interspersed with a radiator and pump, fluid is pumped through the system. According to engineers, Asetek solution is much more efficient traditional approach to cooling, but different enough to be placed in a compact notebook size.   To demonstrate the capabilities of laptop CPU water cooling it reached 4.4 GHz, and frequency of GPU raised from 680 to 800 MHz. Growth performance, as measured in the test 3DMark Vantage, was 23%, with reduced noise levels under load. Related Products : | ||
