It is expected that Windows 8 will debut officially in October this year, managing to capture the season back-to-school.  Having to work enhanced with a touch screen interface, this operating system will find wide application in Tablet PC and hybrid ultrabook. Associate reported that the first tablet running Windows 8 will be available in November this year.  In this case we are talking mainly about the tablets based on the 32nm Intel Atom processor generation Cloverview.  More than half of the models will be equipped with a physical keyboard.  Some of the hybrid devices will be based on Ivy Bridge generation processors , which will provide higher performance. Intel is already developing Bay Trail - a platform which will include 22 nm processors Atom.  It will replace the current platform Clover Trail.  The composition of Bay Trail will include the development of 3G/4G wireless modem Infineon.  The graphics core of its own design, too, must become part of Bay Trail  platform - the company previously relied on the decision Imagination Technologies.
