Apacer memory Company released DDR3-1600 modules ECC RDIMM capacity of 16 GB, designed for servers. According to the manufacturer, the demand for such modules is growing as cloud computing enter a period of maturity and gaining recognition in the corporate environment.
The modules operate at a voltage of 1.5 V with latencies CL11 at 1600 MHz. One of the features of Apacer DDR3-1600 modules is availability of internal and external circuit voltage reference (Vref), which allows the system to directly use an external Vref to improve efficiency and reduce noise.
Modules Apacer DDR3-1600 16GB 2Rx4 ECC RDIMM fully comply with JEDEC specifications and tested for compatibility with the latest dual-processor server platforms from Intel and AMD, including Intel Xeon E5-2600/4600 processors and AMD Opteron 6000 Quad equipped with memory controllers.
