South Korean industrial giant Samsung sees the transition to DDR4 standard as the most effective remedy for the industry. The next step in the mass introduction of a new RAM type was with the production of test samples of registered memory modules (RDIMM) 8 and 16 GB.
For the production of chips , Samsung uses 30 nm-class, but serial product standards will be applied 20 nm class. Samsung said that a year later the company plans to master the production of modules with the effective frequency 3200 MHz and default voltage of 1.2 volts.
