Google has this year demonstrated the device Project Glass, allowing to work with the technology of the so-called "augmented reality" when the image of real objects are superimposed by computer generated images and the illusion of some interaction. As conceived by Google, located in front of the eye a tiny screen will display information about the real objects, which the user will be met on the way. The device has a camera and a microphone, it can access the Internet. According to recent information, the market will Project Glass until 2014, although existing prototypes are widely used testers now.
Microsoft is also developing goggles with built-translucent screens that can add reality of the necessary information. However, in contrast to the Project Glass, the device is aimed not at a constant ratio, but on the use in various shows: sporting events, concerts and shows.
Watching the progress of match, for example, the user can see the background information about the game and its participants. In addition to the built-in display, Microsoft glasses has a camera, microphone and position sensors.
