Intel processors company wants to be registered in the segment of tablets and smartphones. However, so far its products have a relatively high power consumption for these devices, and to develop a radically new processor requires huge resources and time.
Intel was going to rectify the situation by offering partners Red Ridge reference tablet processor-based Medfield. It was assumed that the device will have a 10-inch screen, equipped with Google Android operating system version 4.0 the thickness of the case does not exceed 8.5 mm, and the weight of the product will be 680 limited amount of RAM 1 GB, regular battery charge must be sufficient for 9 hours of continuous operation, or 30 days in standby mode.
