Intel and AMD already reported about their activity for the second quarter this year . Although the latter expects to improve its situation to the end of the present year with Barcelona processor, but in any case the second quarter bring a small victories. In particular, according to the preliminary estimations of analytical agency iSuppli, in the second quarter this year , for AMD it was possible to win back from Intel 0,5% market in terms of money, i.e., income from processors sale . As analysts explain, intel portion was reduced by half percent in low price processors segment . Intel processors sales volumes in the numerical expression grew; however, the profitability's of this activity form was reduced. Thus, now to Intel belongs  80,3% of the market, and AMD company portion is 11,4%. Those remaining 8,3% are divided between other companies. The second quarter became a critical period for AMD: for the first time in last six months the portion of this company ceased to be reduced.... Related Products :
