Yesterday seagate company released many new products, among which proved to be the hard disks barracuda FDE, which hardware support the coding algorithm AES. Access to the data on the hard disk can be limited  with both password and with smart- card or biometric control. FDE barracuda series includes 3.5 inch hard disks with rotation speed 7200 rp/min with volume up to 1 Tb (1000 Gb) . Deliveries will begin in 2008. Seagate simultaneously released hard disks 2.5 inch format the series momentus 5400.4, which has 250 Gb volume using only two plates. The rotation speed  is equal to 5400 rp/min using the interface SATA-300. Deliveries will begin in the fourth quarter  this year. For corporate clients , seagate presented the new hard disks  series cheetah 15k.6, which are equipped with SAS or Fiber channel interfaces . Having a form factor 3.5 inch , they are ready to propose volumes from 147 to 450 Gb, and also rotation speed 15 000 rp/min with 16 mb buffer. Deliveries will begin in the first quarter 2008.
