Intel will present a new X99 chipsets and processors Haswell-E LGA 2011. Simultaneously enthusiasts will have access to DDR4 RAM standard . RAM modules already available, and some even have been demonstrated in the last exhibition Computex 2014.
From GeIL small memo we can see that DDR4 modules will have 288-pin design, supply voltage 1.2 V, while the effective frequency 1600 MHz CAS-latency value will reach 10-12 cycles. With increasing frequency and increasing latency up to 12-14 cycles at 1866 MHz, up to 14-16 cycles at 2133 MHz, and up to 15-18 cycles at 2400 MHz.
Such a value of CAS-latency looks a step backwards compared with DDR3 memory , but it can be explained, since this is the first batches of chips DDR4.. Related Products :
