Powerful notebook on base of desktop processors with four core series core 2 Quad can be purchased even now, Intel company will present the "truly" mobile four core processor in the second-half 2008. Such processor will be released on 45 nm technology and relate to penryn family .

During January 2008 intel will release the processor core 2 Extreme x9000 (2.8 GHz) with 800 MHz system bus, which can be used in santa rosa platform.
