AMD Company recently made some change in the names of future products. The announced during November chipsets AMD RD790 with crossFire X support will get the name AMD 790FX, and low-end chipset series with code designation AMD RX780 will be sold under the name AMD 770. Between these chipsets we have AMD RD780, which will support the classical crossFire according to PCI express x8 + PCI express x8. The official name of this chipset will be: AMD 790X.  Let us recall that chipset AMD 790FX and 770 announcement will take place on 20 November, 2007.
